Description
As a PCB Architect, you will lead the design and development of advanced hardware that showcases the potential of our Silicon designs. Leading a team of PCB design and layout engineers, you will collaborate closely with Physical Design and Post Silicon Validation teams to deliver market-ready solutions that align with current industry standards and trends. You will have access to cutting-edge design and analysis tools, as well as prototyping and validation resources to minimize errors, test ideas, and accelerate time to market.
Requirements
- Project architecture definition based on multi-stakeholder input, delivering a clear vision for the target design(s).
- Professional PCB design tools (Siemens, Cadence, Altium, or similar).
- Signal and power integrity analysis using tools like Siemens HyperLynx.
- Multi-layer PCB design and routing, including high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR/LPDDR).
- Routing designs with high pin-count ICs, small ball pitch, and very large packages.
- Power distribution on designs with high-frequency switching power consuming ICs.
- Market-wide form-factor standards and interfaces for COTS compatibility.
- Experience with acceptance and certification tests (desirable).
- Project management and documentation tools.
- Revisioning tools and production supervision/tracking.
- Proficient in English (C1 or equivalent).
- 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
