Description
Semidynamics is the European RISC-V custom-core specialist, building fully customizable 64-bit processor IP and All-In-One AI solutions. We're growing fast, with multiple chip and IP programs running in parallel — and we're looking for a Senior Project Manager to bring structure, visibility and momentum to all of it.
You'll be the connective tissue of our engineering organization: the bridge between the technical and management worlds. Working hand in hand with our RTL, verification, physical design, firmware and software teams, you'll own the processes, tools and budgets that keep dozens of brilliant engineers aligned, unblocked and moving — from architecture and spec all the way through tape-out and bring-up.
What you'll do
- Own engineering programs end-to-end — you're accountable for delivery, not just oversight — planning and driving multiple projects from kickoff to completion while balancing scope, timeline and resources.
- Define and continuously improve our project management processes, tools and reporting, capturing lessons learned to make every program faster and more predictable than the last.
- Track milestones, dependencies and budgets — forecasting costs, surfacing risks early and driving them to closure with mitigation plans, not just status updates.
- Own all project deliverables, making sure every output and report is accurate, complete and submitted on time.
- Define and present new projects together with the technical team and budget owners, translating technical scope into clear plans, timelines and budgets.
- Run weekly meetings with the engineering teams to track progress, unblock issues and keep every project on course.
- Own project audits — ensuring each project stays on track both technically and economically, and that all requirements, costs and reporting obligations are met.
- Lead project reviews and keep stakeholders aligned, communicating progress, risks and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences — including leadership, customers, and external partners such as government bodies and funding agencies.

Requirements
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Senior Project Manager on complex, multi-team technical projects.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or a related field.
- Deep expertise in PM methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall or hybrid) and hands-on mastery of PM tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project or similar).
- Strong track record of defining PM processes and managing project budgets.
- Excellent planning, risk-management and communication skills, with the ability to keep many moving parts on track and thrive under ambitious deadlines.
- Fluent English (working language); Spanish is a plus.
- Background in the semiconductor, electronics or hardware IP sector (ideal, but not mandatory).
- Familiarity with the silicon design lifecycle (RTL, verification, physical design, firmware, tape-out, bring-up) and industry standards (RISC-V, AMBA, PCIe/CXL).
- Experience managing publicly-funded or grant programs (e.g., EU or national funding) and their reporting and compliance requirements.
- Experience coordinating across geo-distributed teams and external partners.
- PM certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Certified ScrumMaster or similar).
