Beyond Business: Making a Difference Together
At Semidynamics, we support initiatives that empower individuals with disabilities. Through Esclatec, we help provide training in digital manufacturing and 3D printing, fostering autonomy and technical skills. With SIFU, we contribute to personalized career training, guiding individuals toward employment opportunities. Together, we strive for a more inclusive workforce and society.
Esclatec is a Special Employment Center that forms part of Esclat Grup Social (Associació Esclat), a nonprofit organization declared of public utility. Its mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals with cerebral palsy and other similar disabilities, supporting them at every stage of life alongside their families.
With over 25 years of experience, Esclatec fosters labor inclusion for people with disabilities in the technological sector. Specializing in electronic, electrical, and mechanical assembly services, the organization also operates a bicycle repair workshop, serving clients such as Bicing.
Additionally, through its R&D department, Esclatec develops digital manufacturing projects and manages multiple public fab labs, along with its own digital laboratory.
Beyond its social support initiatives, Esclatec is deeply committed to continuous training for its workforce. By enhancing their skills and facilitating adaptation to emerging industry trends and technologies, Esclatec empowers its employees to grow professionally—both within the center and in companies in the sector—through workplace enclaves.
Recently, thanks to the support of Semidynamics, Esclatec has launched specialized training in digital manufacturing for its employees. This initiative, specifically focused on 3D printing, has enabled individuals with disabilities to develop new technical skills and knowledge, fostering autonomy and independence through the creation of personalized adaptations and tools.
SIFU provides personalized support to each participant, tailoring training to their specific needs while enhancing their professional, emotional, and social skills. This program offers online training through a dedicated platform, as well as in-person sessions when necessary.
Through our support, Semidynamics has helped SIFU provide specialized training and guidance for at least three individuals with disabilities, ensuring their successful transition into the workforce. Whether within protected employment environments or mainstream businesses, these efforts open doors to meaningful professional opportunities.
