The EUPILOT project aims to establish a European-based accelerator platform for high-performance computing (HPC) and AI. It seeks to achieve European digital sovereignty in HPC, promote the adoption of the RISC-V ecosystem, and cater to diverse performance targets. The project will provide a foundation for European Exascale systems and extend the capabilities of the RISC-V ecosystem into HPC and HPDA domains. It aims to strengthen European scientific leadership, contribute to a sustainable HPC supply ecosystem, leverage European low-power processing and open hardware technologies, maximize the use of European technologies, create and exploit European IP, and develop mature solutions for future exascale HPC components and systems.
The European PILOT project has received funding from the European High-Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (JU) under grant agreement No 101034126. The JU receives support from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme and from Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, France, Greece, Sweden, Croatia and Turkey.
